How we protect people's privacy

Names and personal details of owners and occupiers are removed before anything is stored. Public pages show only an approximate location; full addresses are released one home at a time to members, and logged.

Ratings you can check

Every rating is worked out the same way and shows its reasons. If information is missing we hold the rating back, and each listing shows how it was rated.

How ratings work

Nobody can pay for a better rating

We earn from memberships. Partners (surveyors, lawyers, currency transfer) never affect ratings, and every partner link says how we're paid.

How we make money

Payments and your account

Payments go through Stripe; we never see your card number. Sign-in uses one-time email links and codes, so there's no password to steal. Cancel online in two clicks.

Your data, your choice

No advertising or tracking cookies. Ask for a copy of your data, or to close your account, at any time.
